1. Your expectations – THE BRIEF

a. ORGANISATION CULTURE ASSESSMENT

Synergy will assess your company culture to ensure the best fit to the organisation. The assessment includes an in depth discussion with key stake holders to fully understand the current values of your company. In some cases there will be a desire to move to a different set of values. Once this is fully understood, Synergy Recruitment Solutions will source candidates that have characteristics to match the desired company values/culture.

b. POSITION DESCRIPTION

We will obtain a full job description and skills analysis from you. We can design the said job description and skills analysis to ensure that there is a complete understanding of the position and expectations.

2. CANDIDATE SOURCING

a. DATABASE SEARCH

A thorough database search is undertaken to source candidates from our in-house data base of pre-registered candidates who match your job description and have the skills required.

b. ADVERTISING

If necessary, we will write an ad designed specifically to attract the candidates who match your position description and possess the necessary skills. Synergy Recruitment Solutions job advertisements are placed on our website and placed on appropriate internet job boards.

As appropriate, your vacancy will be promoted to NPA (the global recruiter’s network) members. Recruiters from allover Australia and the rest of the world will be able to assist in sourcing candidates for us.

3. CANDIDATE SCREENING

a. INTERVIEW and ASSESSMENTS

We conduct face-to-face interviews, using Behavioural Interviewing techniques to ensure that candidates fit the culture of your company and also have the skills necessary to meet the prerequisites of the position description.

Synergy Recruitment Solutions also has all candidates complete written personality assessments. In addition, for sales and customer service roles, candidates’ sales styles are assessed. Moreover, Synergy can arrange numeracy, literacy, computer software aptitude, etc assessments.

b. REFERENCE CHECKING

Thorough reference checks are conducted with immediate supervisors or managers, peers and customers (where appropriate). Referees are asked specific questions that relate to the position the candidate is applying for, as well as general questions on work habits and history, skills, ethics and attitude. We ask these questions in a manner that is successful in obtaining a truthful outcome.

The validity of candidate qualifications is determined via direct contact with the tertiary institute. Where necessary, criminal history checks with the express permission of the candidate.

c. CONSULTANT SUMMARY REPORT

In addition to the candidate's resume, you also will be provided with a written report for all short-listed candidates. This document will give further insight into the person's suitability to the role and amongst other things will outline their qualifications, skills, test results, employment summary, reason for leaving, availability, and salary expectations.

d. UNSUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES

After completion of the interviews, Synergy Recruitment Solutions will take the time to advise all candidates of the results of the job application and interview process and give feedback where appropriate.

4. ON BOARDING PROGRAMME for the SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

To ensure the best possible outcome for you and the new employee, Synergy Recruitment Solutions provides an On-Boarding programme. This programme includes phone calls to the hiring manager and candidate on the second day and second week. There is a face to face visit on the second month anniversary of employment and then follow up calls.
